So they pull out the gall bladder in little pieces? You should really consider talking to the management about that. I mean if I were to get mine taken out, I wanna see a completely intact gall bladder! What good are gall bladder pieces on the Chinese black market? Somebody owes you some money.

After 2 hours with AOL I then called SBC to deal with continuing porblem of my DSL being down (this is after 2 hours on Sunday explaining to a guy in India that I do not have a router or a wireless hub hooked up to my computer).

This time I was only on the phone for an hour and a half. The guy's name sounded like "Charmin". It cracks me up that these guy try to pick American sounding names which sound ridiculous when said with a heavy Indian accent.

Anyhoo, so Charmin starts trying everything from his magic bag of tricks. One of the first things I asked is "what are the chances that the modem is just bad?" He goes on to explain that if the modem was indeed bad that none of the lights would come on. (at this point only 3 of 5 lights were coming on) Okay, I think to myself, you're the expert. After an hour or so of pinging my modem and so forth...he comes to the inevitable conclusion that my modem is in fact "bad". Thanks Charmin. Are you paid on commission?

So now I have to wait 5 working days for a replacement modem to show up. I asked for a credit to my account for those five days.

So there I am last night, in my "studio" working on my lastest electro project and watching Farscape. Suddenly I notice that the "internet" light on my modem is solid green. I log on a "poof", everything is fine. [img]eek.gif[/img] WTF? [img]graemlins/hmmm.gif[/img]

I've come to the conclusion that it was just Jor breaking the internet again. [img]wink.gif[/img] </font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">[img]biggrin.gif[/img]
